Easy Access Vietnam was held over the span of the second and third week of December. On December 8 and 15, the Cultural Experience for Kids presented “Vietnam Traditional Games: Kite Making”, with the Cultural Experience for Adults featuring the “Vietnamese Cooking Class: Banh Xeo (omelet) & Che Dau Den (sweet black bean soup)”, to reward everyone with a chance to enjoy the traditional taste and culture of Vietnam. The 13th also featured Professor Bon-seok Gu’s lecture, “A Taste of Vietnamese Culture”, that explored the country’s culture through a multitude of perspectives. Meanwhile, on December 9, there was a screening of the film Tam Cam: The Untold Story, enabling viewers to become more familiar with the world of Vietnamese fairy tales through this beautiful reinterpretation on the silver screen. Over the course of Easy Access Vietnam, several events were also held including a New Year’s greeting mission, writing names in Vietnamese, face painting, and more. It is hoped that the exhibition allowed everyone the chance to move one step closer to better understanding Vietnamese culture.
